I have some money coming in but I'm not sure if it'll be enough for a short wave radio (actually it would be, but there are too many other things that I need ahead of it though). I have to see how much it is, along with when it'll get here.
If that happens, then I can finally start messing around on this weird new world (to me, anyway) of swling (short wave listening), put up YouTube stuff of what I find, and do a link to this forum to promote it.

Have you checked online to purchase one? Maybe you can get something used off Ebay or iOffer.

That doesn't have anything to do with not having any money at the moment though. Have to have money first!
Plus some way to exchange it too; can't have an e-bay account without a credit card. I don't have one of those now and won't be starting to pay off the current ones so the credit rank will improve for a while.
